PUBLISHED: A new paper describes the key interventions and the improvements in Côte d’Ivoire that resulted in the quality, availability and use of data from the national routine health information system. From 2008 to 2012, JSI under MEASURE Evaluation supported Cote d’Ivoires Ministry of Health to improve the use of national health data by expanding participation in and building links between data collection and decision-making processes; improving data quality; building capacity to analyze, synthesize, and interpret data; and developing policies to support data use. A Performance of Routine Information System Management Assessment (PRISM) assessment found that district data-use score increased from 40 to 70%. globalhealthaction.net/index.php/gha/article/view/25035
