PUNISHMENT: When Will Society Apply Science to its Eradication? by James Jaeger Sometimes Person A antagonizes (or assaults) Person B (over long periods of time) and Person B suddenly lashes back at (assaults) Person A. Is Person A the victim or is Person B the victim? The uninformed observer tropistically finds that Person A is the victim because thats all that is seen on the surface. But, in fact, and as the criminologists posit, victim precipitation took place, i.e., Person A, the so-called victim, precipitated the assault by Person B. Person A thus pulled-in the assault to a greater or lesser degree. The mere fact that so many in todays cultural Marxist-indoctrinated society dont understand victim-precipitation, or dont want to confront this mechanism, disqualifies them from playing a role in the justice or penal system. Mentalities that either deny victim-precipitations role or that have an agenda to suppress it are one of the reasons we now have mandatory sentencing, intolerant laws and a prison-industrial complex, most of which comprise cruel and unusual punishment. Apologists for such, in essence, only know how to punish. They make little or no attempt to understand the sources of conflict or the merits of rehabilitation. IS IT ANY WONDER THE NATION IS EMBROILED IN PERPETUAL WARS? This is the eye-for-eye mentality vs. the turn-the-cheek mentality in full display. Advocates of the former mentality could be said to be silent psychopaths of society, for it is often the insane experts that run the lofty mental institutions. Victim-precipitation is as much a part of understanding crime as guns. Anyone who screams for more gun regulation, yet does not scream for a better understanding of victim precipitation, is part of the problem. Its high time people confront a rational understanding of conflict and crime and stop with the delusion that people out there are simply evil and then jailing or punishing them. Branding someone evil is the easy way out. Its the same ignorant modus operandi of the person that refuses to study causality or science. Its like saying that God is the reason for all unexplained phenomena, an MO that has enslaved and suppressed civilization for millennia. The STATE uses many of the same mechanisms as RELIGION and RELIGION uses many of the same mechanisms as the STATE. Both the state and religions are control mechanisms. Both seek to start, change and stop behavior with force or implied force. You will go to jail (hell) if you dont comply with the law (God). The enemy of the STATE and RELIGION is thus not terrorists or infidels, its truth and understanding.
