***PUPPY ALERT*** JANINE IS WAITING AT THE MANHATTAN SHELTER. WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE HER A FOREVER HOME. The problem is she is going to be destroyed tomorrow at noon so please share and advocate for her tonight before it is to late.... A volunteer writes: Janine is a spunky young girl. She wears the biggest engaging smile, the very reason I decided to take her out. She is quite pretty and attractive despite the imperfections that affect her shiny ebony coat. Janine is a good walker and eliminates as we hit the street. She meets other dogs in a polite way. She looks rather confident and even at times takes the leash into her mouth to lead the show. A little roar can be heard when I try to take it back from her and a slight tug of war follows...Janine...be a good girl. Here is a toy....The leash is mine. Janine understands. Free in a pen, Janine comes right away on the bench next to me. She likes to be petted. She is very sociable and likes company. She loves food and treats and will sit right away for them. Janine is a lively and friendly female found as a stray. She is waiting at the Manhattan Care Center to meet you, dreaming to be your forever best friend.
