PUTIN IS SAVING THE WORLD. The US needs to swallow her pride and work with Assad to effectively tackle and tame ISIS, else ISIS will continue to operate safe haven in Syria, and the US cannot carryout air raids there without permission from the Syrian Government, else it will be breach of territorial integrity amounting to an invasion. No sovereign government will allow that. If Putin had not helped Assad resist the Syrian opposition and their incursion, if Putin had not helped sustain the Assad Government, If Putin had not prevented the west from doing with Syria as with Libya and Iraq, ISIS would have built an empire by now with Syrian oil money, resulting in a much bigger threat than they presently pose. Mind you ISIS would not be in existence were it not for the anarchy the US imposed on Iraq, now a terror group is in control of iraqi oil blocks. Instead of media propaganda and useless sanctions against Russia for actions of Ukrainians, the west should be thanking Putin for saving the world. The US should realize that the world is opening up and becoming more aware, history is no longer what they say it is, the trend of power has changed; it is no longer power shift but power spread. The world will be a much peaceful and better place to live in if the Americans can get off their high horses and welcome as equals the rest of the world, else terrorism will be the least of their worries few years from now.
