PYITHU HLUTTAW AND AMYOTHA HLUTTAW EIGHTH REGULAR SESSION CONTINUED ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions were raised and answered, and was 1 bill carried out at the 11th day session of Pyithu Hluttaw People’s Parliament on October 21, 2013. The 1st question concerns Kayin nationals including census, national registration cards, and providing of food and aid for short and long term, as well as plans for infrastructure in transportation, health and education. Representatives also asked about “renovation of hospital”, “termination of beverage tax”, “permitting tourists’ visits”, “returning licensed arms taken by SLORC government to the owners” and “banning livestock trafficking” in their respective regions. “The Bill Amending Child Law was also submitted at the session. Meanwhile at the Amyotha Hluttaw National Parliament, a question on upgrading a school in Sagaing Region was discussed. The bill committee also submitted a bill concerning transportation that was amended and sent by the Pyithu Hluttaw.
