PaK citizen arrested in Poonch M S Nazki Poonch, June 16: A Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) citizen was arrested by police after he allegedly thrashed a local during a scuffle here in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. Officials said that Muhammad Shakeel son of Muhammad Sadiq resident of Kotli in PaK was arrested by Mendhar police after he thrashed a local namely Satwir Gupta. “Shakeel was arrested at GDC Poonch,” an official said, adding: “He had thrashed Gupta following which a case under FIR no 80/2014 under sections 323, 341, 382 RPC was registered in Mendhar police station.” He said Shakeel came here via Chakan da Bag- Poonch on 19 May 2014. The official said Shakeel was scheduled to go back today but was arrested by police as case stands against him. He is still in our custody, a police official said.
