Paging audio (and video) pros. Am looking through my music - TopicsExpress

Paging audio (and video) pros. Am looking through my music projects and I have over 1TB of material from 2004-2014 (mainly the fault of Peter Gregson and Bridget Mermikides). How do you deal with backups? Given the fallibility of (especially external) hard drives what do you do to archive projects? I figure the only digital things I really, really want to secure forever are personal photos and videos, and bounced full quality audio and video files. Ongoing, incomplete project files which if lost would involve loss of time should also be secured (Time capsule, Dropbox etc.). But what of completed projects? Do you keep every project file and referenced file? Optimised? Just the bounced tracks? Do you store it on two drives? Locations? Am considering investing in a couple of TB of dropbox style backup so that its out of my hands. Thoughts? Comments?
