Pain, one word we hate the most, it’s called “an unpleasant feeling” it’s sometimes can be physical (damaged stimuli), or emotional (psychological non-physical). Did you know that “pain motivates the individual to withdraw from damaging situation, to protect a damaged body part while it heals, and to avoid similar experiences in the future?” (Imagine! Did you ever think of that?) Pain is one of the most hated words today, talking about the number one symptom that lead us to complain, and not rejoice to the doctor… countries have banned the Biblical admonishment of corporal punishment (spanking), and the world looks upon this a form of brutality with no good than abuse, and leading to other crimes! We look at pain in such a negative light! Even the word itself gives me shivers! REALLY? Has the devil turned our minds so much, that some of us never even want to experience pain as Christians! Which is a sad, sad, misconception! We most likely associate pain, in our Christian lives, with questioning whether God exists, and why He would allow such things, to happen! The Lord, wants us to be like Him, He allows (yes I said it!) He allows, individuals, families, churches, people to experience hardships and pain, so that they may see the danger, and HUMBLE THEIR HEARTS BEFORE HIM IN REPENTANCE! Just like a father who loves you! (Heb. 12:5-12) God loves YOU! He just wants us to return, see the danger we are walking in… and even humble ourselves more, to come before Him, to really search, and to ask Him, plead with Him to show mercy and pardon over your transgression :D He will restore us! And give us more strength! (Ps. 119:67) Even to the ones who are not walking in danger, when we face such trials, and persecution, the Lord knows! GET ON YOUR KNEEES! HUMBLE YOURSELF! HE KNOWS! And you will be strengthened, and filled with joy and peace! All things, all things, work together for the good of those who love the LORD! (Rom. 8:28) Yes, even pain, can bring us ever so close to our savior! And we can have more strength to carry the cross anywhere we are… who wants to make this dedication with me today “Who shall separate ME from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword... Nay in all these things I AM more than a conqueror through him that loved me. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come. Nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!” Rom. 8:35-39…. *sings you can have all this world, give me Jesus… lets pray!
