Pain, unlike pleasure, wears no mask. Behind every sorrow, there is always sorrow. No pain, no gain is so very apart. “To render ourselves insensible to pain, we must also forfeit the possibility of happiness.” One hasn’t lived without having experienced and endured pain in all its many shapes and forms. Life is never without its fair share of pain. We just learn to accept it as our fair due and live with it in pretty much the same way that we enjoy the simple pleasures of life. One balances the other. Life’s a happy medium. The extremes doesn’t bear thinking of a happy balance is what life offers. You just take the good with the bad as is the case with everything else in life. Grin and bear it is what life’s all about. ~zemer
