Paisleys speech therapist has been using things that paisley enjoys to be motivation to use signs. Once the connection is made that Im doing this motion and it means something and they understand me-- and I get what I want she will pick up on more and be able to communicate some things. She has tried bubbles-- she loves bubbles but wont do the sign. She tried blocks-- paisley likes blocks but obviously not enough to use sign language to ask for them. She tried open so she could ask for something she wants from inside a container- no luck. Yesterday she decided she would try music... Paisleys favorite thing ever. I loved her choice of song to use. I thought I would fall out of my chair laughing! Paisleys speech therapist is awesome! Every inch of you is perfect, from the bottom to the top!
