Pak Army has expanded relief effort to far flung drought hit areas of Diplo, Mithi, Khinser, Rattan jotar, Dhunai, Tharparker. Number of ration distribution points have been increased from 4 to 12 where as 7 more medical relief camp have been established totalling 11 and providing medical relief to affectees. 35 ton rations have been distributed among drought affectees so far. More ration is heli-dropped by 2 x helicopters in far flung areas. 4105 patients have been provided medical relief so far. Mobile medical and ration teams are also reaching to the people in distress.
