Pakistan - Shia Genocide Suicide blast kills 40 Shias in Quetta’s Hazara Town At least 40 Shiite Muslims have been killed, over 65 have been injured and several more casualties are feared in a suicide blast which took place outside the Abu Talib Mosque and Imambargah in Quetta’s Hazara Town, The Shia Post reported. According to sources, the dead bodies and injured were rushed to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Bolan Medical Centre and Civil Hospital. According to our correspondent, no proper tratment has been provided by any hospital to the injured persons of the blast and martyrs bodies have kept on each other. The casualities of the blast are high since the attack occurred shortly after Maghrib prayers, when people had started to come out of the imambargah, said an eyewitness. According to another eye witness, the blast took place near an Imam Bargah followed by firing. The area plunged into darkness after the thunderous explosion that disrupted the power supply. Those killed also include two women while women and children are also among the injured, twenty of whom are said to be in critical condition. The proscribed Lashkar-i-Jhangvi has claimed responsibility for the attack. A spokesman for the group who identified himself as Abubakar Siddique told a private TV channel that his group had carried out the attack in the Hazara town.Jaffaria Alliance announced a youm-e-sog for three days following the attack.
