#Pakistan: This Diwali Celebration thing by political parties is aimed at Western audiences. The strategy is based on presenting a moderate secular image to garner political support in Western capitals. Is this a conincidence that such celebrations have been highlighted by Pakistans political parties at a time when the West is building an international coalition against Islamic radicals.The message is: we are your partners against our own populations who have become radicalized by Islamic thoughts.Look, for us celebrating Eid and Diwali is the same. P.S. The right to practice ones religion is a completely different idea from celebrating a false religion. One doesnot drink beer to demonstrate the right of an individual to enjoy beverages.
