#Pakistan is testing a new Main #BattleTank. Pakistan is currently undertaking test trials of the next generation VT-4 Main Battle Tank prototype, developed by the Chinese military industrial giant #NORINCO. Should this state of the art MBT meet Pakistan Armys stringent evaluation standards, it will replace Pakistans old T-59, T-69, T-85IIAP and T-85III Main Battle Tanks. Its worth noting that, this MBT is not a replacement for Al-Khalid series which is a heavier MBT and will continue its production. Industrial experts are also speculating that if VT-4 prototype is acquired by the Pakistan Army, it will be bought under a Transfer of Technology Agreement (TTA) resulting in its production inside Pakistan.
