Pals, i am so sorry for not being able to bring you the story of abo)ba as i promised. anyways, better late than never! Here we go: A poor hunter went on a hunting expedition for several days and nights without any game.Just as he was about to return home, he saw this tiny creature known as abo)ba. Being afraid that the hunter might kill it, Abo)ba pleaded with the hunter to spare its life and that he should send it home and take good care of it.My name is abo)ba, please dont hurt me. I am only a tiny creature. Please if you spare my life and you take me home to take good care of me, i could provide you and your family with at least what you would eat everyday, the tiny creature said. The hunter took it home and kept it at a safe place. The next morning, the hunter visited abo)ba to give it food and to his surprise, abo)ba had laid a golden egg! The hunter hurriedly picked the egg and sold it for their familys upkeep.Hitherto, the hunter and the family hardly had anything to eat because they were poor. abo)ba continued to lay eggs for several years until one day, the hunters wife suggested they kill the tiny creature and take away everything inside it because they were tired of the creature laying an egg a day! The hunter bought into the wifes idea and one night, the hunter, wielding a sharp cutlass, visited abo)ba. Abo)ba was expecting food from the hunter. The hunter slashed the creature amidst screams from abo)ba begging him to spare its life. The hunter continued till abo)ba finally died. Guess what was inside the creature...NOTHING! The hunter screamed, OMG! what is this foolish thing that i have done! From that day afterwards, the hunter and the family continued to wallow in poverty. ANY MORAL LESSONS?
