Pamela J Stanley-Stover Ive been hesitant to speak of this but earlier in the summer I took on the responsibility of Tammy Mckinnons 3 dogs and Shug did not adapt well. I was concerned because I was afraid she would be attacked at some point. Daily I monitored the activity, I tried separate living areas and feeding areas. Everyone got their own beds. The day came when I realized that Shug just wasnt to be found and I worried about her demise. I didnt want to tell you and Cliff that I had lost her or that she was probably dead. The neighbors who are hardworking farm people and not the keepers of foofoo house dogs but people who keep their dogs chained had allowed Shug to move into their home and take over. She has full access to the couch and has her own bed and blankey. They make sure she is covered so that she doesnt get too chilled. This is all based on the fact that she is the best hunter and the smartest little dog and other such nonsense. So, she has ran away from home and moved up in society. lol lol They even call her Sugar.
