Panera update: corporate emailed and called me. Im pretty impressed with the rep. She did NOT say I have no idea how that could have happened - no kidding b/c if Panera knew HOW it could happen, Im sure they would have resolved that risk. She DID say on behalf if Panera Id like to apologize and ask if you are ok. No corporate speech to cover liability. She insisted I either meet her somewhere or she would come to me to fill out an incident report and cover any associated expenses. WHAT? Taking responsibility???? The incident report also starts an investigation to determine how this may have happened and remedy the risk. Good corporate policies & reps!
