Paper Angels Movie - Nov 16, 2014 - please share In 2003 I wrote a song called Paper Angels In 2011 Paper Angels became a book. In 2011 Paper Angels was optioned by a major film company and was put on the shelf for one year. In 2012 The major company didnt pick up the second option - so I flew a kite. Late 2012 I logged on to Instagram and reached out to Maura Dunbar at Odyssey networks and pitched my book Paper Angels. Maura loved it and purchased the rights. Shortly afterwards I called Jenny Bohler and asked her if she would come on board and help with the book/movie process. She agreed! Jan 09,2014 4:54 pm CDT received call from Jenny Bohler saying Maura said they have the money to film Paper Angels in 2014. Feb 18, 2014 9:11 pm CDT I received this email from Maura Dunbar: We are officially ordered to production as I mentioned – to air in December 2014 on UP. We are anticipating a July production and are only beginning to start the process of casting – thinking directors etc…. Feb 24,2013 3:00 - 3:38 pm CDT Conference call with Maura Dunbar, Jenny Bohler April 02,2014 11:56 pm CDT I saw Barbara on Friday and the network is very excited and in fact she told me that this project has become a favorite of Brad Siegal - so we can look forward to lots of support. Meantime - Im putting together the various deals for financing and distribution.
