Parenthood has changed me in ways that I never really expected and notice for the strangest of reasons. For instance, I have a hard time watching/reading/listening to fictional accounts of children getting hurt. It stopped me from getting too far into GoT, stopped me reading a SF series Im really fond of, and just the other night it caused me to pause my binge viewing of The West Wing. Last episode of season 4. I wont go into details except to say that the emotion displayed by Martin Sheen and Stockard Channing in a single look across a room, without a single word being spoken says a lot about the quality of the performance and the character development to that point. Ill go back to it soon enough, but for the time being I need a change. Maybe its finally time to sit down to Sherlocks third season.
