Parenting is not a picnic or a party. But I have to admit the hardest part is that my daughter is very talented. She can sing like an angel, but it is not her thing. She makes every honor choir she tries out for and thinks it is a great hobby to have. But to watch her be disappointed and feeling discouraged in some of her other pursuits is hard to watch. If only singing was her thing we would be set for life! And I would know how to encourage that little toot.
