Parents, I posted this years ago but here goes again. They know how many prison beds they need based on 3rd grade failures. Here is a little more info. If your child, especially a boy, cannot read at grade level by the 3rd grade they already know he WILL end up in prison at a later time in life. We must start to place more importance on daily reading like we place emphasis on AAU events and football and track. Take 15 minutes daily and shut off everything and everybody in the house grab a book and read. Then ask your child what they just read.
