Parents. Kids. Wives. Work. Jobs. Business. Friends. Housekeeping. Money. Financial. Cars. Documents. Reports. Investment. Travel. Vacation. Smartphones. Laptops. Rent. and so on and so on. The list of dunyawi matters that we attend is endless. But how about these: Salat. Fast in Ramadhan. Zakat. Hajj and Umrah. Covering awrat. Tahajjud. Dhuha. Salat sunah rawatib. Reading Quran. Reading hadith. Memorizing Quran. Memorizing hadith. Attending majlis of Islamic knowledge. Dhikir. Istighfar. Jihad. Sadaqa (charity). Taking care of orphans and poor old widows and poor elders and poor people around your neighborhood. Donating for dawah and jihad. Smile to your brothers. Taking garbage from the street and putting it inside garbage bin. The list of acts of ibadah and kindness is also endless. It is up to you which one to prioritize. Dunyawi matters are also necessary, but never let them fool you to neglect ibadah and doing khayr (acts of kindness) to people around you. What you did, have been doing and are doing, all are written by the angels. So use this life wisely. We would be held into questions by ALLAH. On the Day. It will come soon. Hold tight to the Deen of ALLAH. The fitna around us is spreading like wildfire. Choose bestfriends who have taqwa, who fear ALLAH, who keeps reminding about ALLAH and Akhirah. and stay with them. Reminder to me first and foremost.
