Parents Time Out Our mission at Parents Time Out is to provide children with an environment that gives them the ability to learn, play, and interact with their peers to enhance their social skills. We provide a daily structured program which includes, but not limited to arts and crafts, songs, stories, reading, computers and more. We are located off of Murrieta Hot Springs Rd in Murrieta, CA. Parents Time Out is currently looking to hire individuals for the following (2) positions: Receptionist & Preschool Teachers Position: Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities: Answer phone calls, schedule childcare appointments, organize any paper work/filing for center or tasked by administrative manager, monitor, and to aid children in their daily activities if needed at the Center. To keep children safe before oneself. To report any neglect or child abuse. Minimum Qualifications (Licensing Requirements): CPR, First Aid Lines of Supervision: Administrative Manager - Director - Owner Special Skills (Needed to Perform Job): To be considered to fill the position of Receptionist at Parents Time Out we ask that you meet the following requirements before applying: Must be 18 Years of Age or Older (Required) Must have a High School Diploma (Required) Proficient in Microsoft Word (Preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Power Point (Preferred) Available to Work Part Time or Full Time (Required) Must Pass Background Check (Required) Excellent Communication Skills (Required) Child Friendly and Approachable (Required) Compensation: $9.00/hr with increases following 6-months/1 year of service. Position: Preschool Teacher Duties and Responsibilities: To teach, monitor, and aid children in their daily activities at the Center. To keep children safe before oneself. To report any neglect or child abuse. Minimum Qualifications (Licensing Requirements): 12 core semester units in: child development, family & community, curriculum (age appropriate) and 6 months experience working in a childcare center (minimum 3 hours per day for 50 days in 6-months). Alternatives: Child Development Associate Credential with appropriate age endorsement & 6 months experience/ Child Development Associate Teacher Permit/ Teacher Permit/ Master Teacher Permit Special Skills (Needed to Perform Job): Child Friendly and approachable. Lines of Supervision: Director - Owner Compensation: $12.00/hr with potential increases follow 6 months/1 year of service.
