Parents and teachers across the United States have learned to Follow the Money whenever their children’s education is at risk. Unfortunately, in Oklahoma, our Governor Fallin is all with the educrats and twisted businesses that want to cash in on our children over the screams and cries and hard work of our citizens trying to stop them. The Gates Foundation pays to have faux grassroots groups like Stand For Children (parents lovingly call them Stand ON Children) show up at our State Capitol to undermine what the people of our state are fighting for. Check for them in your state as well. Apparently, it takes little more than dinner out to turn some of our legislators’ heads… Or a promise of a bright future for them through the Chamber of Horrors… I mean Chamber of Commerce (who incidentally also receives funds from Gates), or trips to Fenway Park to visit Jeb Bush. Senator Clark Jolley, who as Chair of Appropriations has run interference to keep moms from having a say in their children’s education, is currently running for Congress, and I am absolutely certain he will be extremely well funded, and it won’t be from grassroots. Senator Ford, Chair of the Ed Committee, is always so pleasant as he stabs us in the back and kills any bill that would slow the Common Core train. So parents, teachers, go to your State legislators pages, and see who are the chairs, and then Follow the Money. If a group starts showing up in support of Common Core, find out who they are. QUICK! So far we haven’t found one that isn’t tied to the Gates Foundation. Read the rest of this PolitiChicks.tv article here: politichicks.tv/column/26638/#oVtwiLZsqAPYuzUt.99
