Parents are you looking for something POSITIVE for your girls to do between the ages of 5-17. On yesterday during our Girl Scout meeting, I was informed that there were children outside of our building fighting. Many of the spectators were videoing the fight to post it on Facebook. When we went out to see what was going on they scattered to the back streets around the church. We called the non-emergency number to the police department. They indicated they were not able to respond right away to our calls because of similar calls across town. I am trying to do all I can along with Lighthouse Ministries of BH to diffuse some of this chaos in our community. In an attempt to be a part of the solution and NOT the problem, I will sponsor four girls from Benton Harbor, MI, age 5-17. Parents must be willing to support their daughter in the Girls Scouts with transportation and any other activities.
