Parisian Haute Couture reigned supreme for a week at the Fashion Event of the year in Singapore: the FIDe Fashion Weeks 2013. It was a mind- boggling showcase of the most creative established and emerging talent from Paris and Asia. This is the third year running that Singapore has had this prestigious event. Its the only city outside Paris to host Fashion Week and in these three years the organizers have established Singapore as a Fashion Capital of the world! Its east to see why, for this event it attracts the best and the brightest, to wit: Atelier Chardonnay Savard with no less a personality than its creative genius Dominique and the renowned fashion savant and critic Jean Paul Cauvin as well as the legendary Yumi Katsura and of course the brilliant young haute couturier Alexis Mabille plus several up and coming designers. It was a week+ of the most amazing, exhilarating, electric, and stupendous fashion extravaganza this country and this journalist has ever seen. Move over Milan!
