Park Closures Due to Sewer Break Update: All of yesterdays road closures remain in effect today (see below). Additionally, Valley Creek is closed to all recreational activity until further notice. Because of the recent sewage spill into Valley Creek, the bacterial levels are likely to exceed standards for recreational activities. Due to increased human health risk, the National Park Service advises against contact with these waters until further notice. Current road closures: - Route 23 eastbound from Ferry Lane/Country Club Rd to Rt 252 is closed - Route 23 westbound from Gulph Rd to Rt 252 is closed. The portion of Rt 23 that runs through the park, from the lighted intersection at N. Gulph Rd to Gulph Rd, is open. - Route 252 from Yellow Springs Rd to Rt 23 is closed. Northbound traffic on Rt 252 must turn left onto Yellow Springs Rd. at the Covered Bridge. Well continue to update the public about park and road closures on our website at go.nps.gov/1cfpzq.
