Parliament Chalo! Do This And That Dear friends, There has been - TopicsExpress

Parliament Chalo! Do This And That Dear friends, There has been an overwhelming response to our mail regarding Amit Shah Jis disenchantment with KP voters. The mail has generated more controversies than retrospection it deserved. We whole heartedly welcome your comments- a favourable, adverse and harsh as in democracy everyone has a right to express himself freely. However, two of the comments- Parliament Chalo and frequent misuse of Net have not only touched us but also reminded us of an episode as narrated to us by revered Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shanker (Founder of Art of Living) a couple of years ago in Delhi. The revered Guru had specially invited Kashur Gazette team comprising Kamlaish Vakil, Sushil Vakil and Sunita Vakil at the residence of one of the topmost Supreme Court lawyers in Delhi to discuss the Kashmir situation and welfare of Kashmiri Pandits living in exile. While discussing the issue, to our surprise Guru Ravi Shanker Ji asked us Can you bring some displaced Kashmiri Pandits here whom I could address, lead and guide for future. Without any reservations we sincerely conveyed to him that we couldnt bring a single person but could manage hundreds for a get-together. We also sincerely told him that we were not even sure of our own participation in such a Sermon delivering programme. Dismayed over our inabilty to gather KPs he narrated a funny incident: Many Art of Living M embers were flying from Delhi to Srinagar in a connecting flight to take stock of the situation and relief operations etc. in Kashmir during peak militancy. The delegation also included one of the Kashmiri Pandits (name withheld) a senior functionary of the Art of Living Society. The flight halted at Jammu for some time. And when it was the time for final check up to our surprise we saw the Pandit missing. Despite many announcements he couldnt be found around the airport. Later on we came to know that he had intentionally abandoned the flight fearing risk in traveling to terror stricken state. It is another matter that after some days the revered Guru not only visited the valley again to meet separatists included Yaseen Malik but also to Pakistan to meet their masters there. Our suggestion to net users is to tread softly and just limit yourself to fair comments only and refrain from issuing FATWAS like PARLIAMENT CHALO ( knowing fully that none of us will show up) as it will only defame the community rather than doing any good. It would do us well to refrain from working at cross purposes by resorting to Cock Fighting on the net. A mutually common strategy needs to be worked for the common good. Dear friends, treat this just as a friendly suggestion and not a dictum.
