Part 1: Alpha: From Poor to Pour: 1 Samuel 2:7-8 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? Philippians 4: 12 I know how to live in poverty or prosperity. No matter what the situation, Ive learned the secret of how to live when I’m full or when I’m hungry, when I have too much or when I have too little. Matthew 5: 3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ***************** These last 5 years I have been touched by so many that I would have otherwise passed by and not even noticed. It is they that were given to me as a healing power to fight the good fight. Today I totally understand God and the need for us to touch others. If touching others brings healing then so be it. Their poverty is no different than our own poverty. The poor need a touch of God in us, and we need a touch of God to pour from us. Let us look to the cross for our daily bread to spread. There is no greater place but to kneel at the cross and receive a blessing to pour out to those in need. You kneel ...You Heal.
