(Part 1) Ive been digging in deeper with HS for quite a few years and mentioning Him as often as possible every chance I get along with Jesus and Father God of course and to see my church get into it as well is even more exciting for this Ole Dog. Keep bringing it my Brothers from The Edge. I personally dig the timing of the movie Holy Ghost along with The Edge Church teaching on the Holy Spirit this year during our 9:30am Sunday Services at Metea Valley High School. 10_16_14 The Holy Ghost Movie showing at Batavia Fine Arts Bldg was an awesome time to say the least with our praise & worship band from The Edge leading the way. It all had a sort of walls of Jericho touch to it in my world. Me, I call Him HS for short. Any way you try to spin HS, He will always be part of the Trinity to me, that is the main ingredient to my understanding of who the Father and Son are. Jesus ministry didnt really begin on this earth until HS descended upon Him during His baptism in the River Jordan by John the Baptist. Matthew 3:11-17 English Standard Version (ESV) 11 “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” The Baptism of Jesus 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. 14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented. 16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him,[a] and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son,[b] with whom I am well pleased.” Ill shut up for now and show some photos of the event that we participated in from start to finish of praise and worship and plenty of prayer time to go along with all the prophecy that was taking place before,during and after this event. I hope you get a chance to check out the film as well as dig deeper into the scriptures and your Garden Times with God to get an even better understanding of this Person from the Trinity we call HS. He is who says He is and He will help you if you invite Him to help. All you have to do is talk with Him and Hell amaze you Im sure with where He will take you once you get use to the fact of who He really is......................... tbc
