Part 116 The story of Rose Ann and her friends Rose Ann looks at Devin and said, “Devin I am really sorry that happened to you. I cannot even imagine the fear you must have been feeling that day. Devin said, “Well I got in my white Toyota Camry and drove to myself home. When I arrived I was alone at first and then my little sister (age 16) came into the house. She typically rode the bus home. We would usually both go into the kitchen and start looking for things to eat. My sister and I did not get along, so we didnt talk much to each other. Rose Ann said, “Why didnt you two get along? Wow Devin that is really sad to me. I always wanted some siblings.” Devin said, “Rose Ann it’s complicated, but she was adopted at age 11 and we just never bonded. I felt like my step dad played favorites with her. I had already felt that at my real dad’s house, so that could have triggered some of my anger. I guess you can say I was “always” trying to find, where I fit in! I think that is why my Mom and I became so close. She would always stick up for me and my brothers would claim she babied me. My 4 older brothers would pick on me, because I was the youngest brother, (like all siblings do). I also felt like my sister had taken my role as the baby of the family, and I guess I was jealous.... However I’ll be very honest here I was pretty mean to her and she was the same to me.
