Part 3 of young earth ice age Niagara falls has been estimated to - TopicsExpress

Part 3 of young earth ice age Niagara falls has been estimated to be eroding back at the rate of atleast a foot per year. By this calculation comes a controversial question. If the earth is billions of years old, how come these falls have not eroded back much further? The evolutionist points the blame to an ice age some time ago that formed the falls. The creationist makes the same claim. The difference is one claims multiple ice ages and the other claims only one took place. If only one took place then the falls could be evidence of a young earth. The falls are a hinderence to the old earth hypothesis which must give occasion to multiple ice ages. The falls serve as no such problem for a single ice age occurring at the time of the flood.
