Part I: Are We Isaias Afewerki? The Customization of Hypocrisy and Autocracy in Eritreans’ Blood! By Mebrahtu Teclesion In our struggle for genuine political transformation and societal change, we should be able to distinguish ourselves from the existing system of the People’s Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ) not by spinning golden words or democratic theories of governance, but in practice to grab the support of the silent majority. Most often we never hesitate to designate ourselves as “justice seekers” or “democrats” when we are far away from internalizing the values of justice and democracy to demonstrate drastic behavioral and attitudinal changes in walks of our life.
