Part of being a rescue is Not only saving horses but also to help education people on proper horse care is it not?? Well thats what I have done and ongoing with someone. Yes its someone that has been on the news and in the papers. Yes, I have the horses here. Raisin and Ebony But Ebony was adopted. Now, When someone has issues and the court sees that they have issues and a messed up life the court asks for them to get help.. Help is what Amy Allan has seeked. I am part of that help. I am educating her on proper horse care. Just because you have a horse that doesnt make you a proper horse owner. Horses need vet care when needed, they need food, they need a farrier, they also need love and stalls cleaned water tanks cleaned etc. Since all this has happened with the news, court etc Amy Allen has seen a counselor and still is. that counselor is helping her with a lot of issues going on in her life and I also go on occasions when its time to talk about animals.. Amy now sees things the way you and I do when it comes to animals. No one is perfect and sometimes it takes people to help get them in the right direction, IF no one helps them how does this help change anything? Im not saying all people can be changed... only the ones that want to change. IF they want to change and do better but dont know how and no one shows them then what??? Yes I am aware that she can not own any animals for awhile. The dog Dozer that some are asking me about is NOT her dog. That dog belongs to James who does live with her. The humane society gave James Dozer back the day of the raid because the dog was #1 Registered to James #2 up to date on shots #3 not under weight. Amy was not the owner of that dog. Yes the court is aware that the dog is in the same home as her. Yes, AC has already checked on the well being of the dog. With the court, Amy does have 2 yrs probation and yes Amy has donated money to the rescue because she now knows what it takes to care for a horse. Call it restitution if you will. Yes she was out here and helped with a quarantine pen building. hmm it takes physical labor as well to care for a horse.. Did she know that when you get a horse in not knowing anything about it or where it came from NOT to put it in with your other horses??? NO.. she does now! Yes the court is aware of her coming out here and her attorney and all that was involved in this.. You have a problem with that take it up to the court. So feel free to condemn me for helping educate someone that wanted to change and learn and asked for the help. It takes courage to ask for help and want to change .. at least I think it does.
