Part of the CrossFit methodology is to become capable across a wide range of movements and tasks. The methodology says that we should strive for functional fitness so that we can go out and enjoy life (run, swim, bike, hike, climb, paddle, throw, sit down, stand up, jump, etc). This is only one aspect of the CrossFit methodology, but I sometimes wonder how often we actually put our fitness to a real test. Feel free to comment the ways, activities, and/or life requirements that test your functional fitness.
