Part-time Dog Handler Required We are currently looking for a part-time member of our team at our dog day care centre in Stirling. Hours available at the moment are up to 16 hrs per week, however should we get the right candidate a full time position may be available in the future. The ideal candidate would be:- Reliable Punctual Have an excellent sickness record Be flexible for shift changes at the last minute Be able to get on well with others and work as a team Be a hard worker, who is always looking for something to do. Physically fit for long periods of walking, along with cleaning and handling of dogs A given you must love dogs and have a passion to work with them. In relation to experience with dogs, we would expect you to have confidence handling and managing a large pack dynamic (training will be given). Ideally you will be able to confidently and calmling handling dogs, whether that be your own dog or working in a dog related job. You will in return receive a fun place to work with additional hours given as you progress and the dog numbers increase. Shift patterns could be any of the following- 730-12pm, 12-6pm, 730-6pm, 9-12pm, 2-6pm Mondays to Fridays The position will be on a 3 months trial basis, to determine if we have found the right team member for our centre. You will be on minimum wage over this period. Thereafter moving onto £7 per hour, which will increase depending on your length of service and your work ethic.
