Partly to mostly sunny, breezy and warm with highs in the low to mid 80s. Patchy fog possible in some areas this morning. We do have a chance of seeing some scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening across northeast Illinois. Because of the system associated with these storms, they will be moving in mainly from the northwest and traveling southeastward. Some storms do have the threat of becoming strong to severe with the main threats being heavy rains, dangerous lightning, strong gusty winds and hail. Not all areas may see these storms but just keep alert and be prepared just in case for changing conditions later today. Have a great day everyone. (Jeremy)
