Pasay City, Metro Manila The photos show Senator Cynthia Villar, consoling Max (not his real name), an OFW who was physically assualted by 4 unidentified men before being left for dead in a desert in Riyadh. Max, another one of our distressed Kababayans, has returned home through the combined efforts of Senator #CynthiaVillar and #VillarSIPAG, Ople Policy Center, DFA and other concerned government agencies and individuals. Max worked as a clerk in an Italian ice cream factory in Riyadh. He extended his gratitude to Senator Cynthia Villar for intervening in favor of his immediate repatriation. He hoped to gain a fresh start here in the Philippines.
