Passionate dreams, lost to the sad reality of sight not seen. Desperately seeking opportunity, recognition and respect. Failing at every turn, failing to make progress. Failing to be seen. Failing to be herd. One mans life hangs in limbo while the other soars. Injustice is not an imbalance of wealth, but an imbalance to see the value in both. Years of hard work, years of life tearing a man down. Never stopping to see the ship has yet to sail. Instead the man looks at each day as a new day. The failures, as lessons to grow upon. The rejection as motivation to become better. Spending every hour, learning and working on building his ark of life. Often laughed at by those around him. Never gaining respect, never given the support to which to continue. From within the man finds hope, peace and says I will I have my day. Looking forward looking towards the amazing outcome, that comes from a life of work and pride. Tonight that man goes to sleep, knowing today was just another lesson. Just another opportunity to get better. Today was the day he became better than he was yesterday.
