This card indicates that unexpected and serious change is about to take place. Perhaps your whole life is about to come unglued, everything from relationships to business. Anything that you consider permanent in your life is at risk. Present: You ve drawn the Death card. This is not an actual physical death; it is an indication of a major external change, the need to accept the loss and let go, freedom from old relationships, transformation. Situations will change, separations might occur, people could depart from life and new ones enter the scene…these are some of the changes you must be prepared for. It sure is a time of transition from one set of circumstances to another, and it won t be easy. It is the image of profound transformation, the ending of one cycle, and the transition into a new state. Future: You have drawn the Death card in reverse. Be prepared for abrupt and complete change of circumstances, way of life and patterns of behaviour. The path ahead must be cleared, perhaps for new beginnings. And, you may be against the changes that are about to come, it is certainly not wise or advisable to struggle against adverse circumstances. Life may be confusing or difficult but, don t forget, you will be given all the Strength to rise from the ashes and to make life anew.
