Pastors Moment: Even if you forget everything else this week, remember this, I will capitalize intentionally, THERE IS NO LIMIT TO GOD’S POWER. The Psalmist actually puts it better in Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” I will tell you only one story to show you what I mean. When the Israelites were in between Egypt and the Promised Land in Canaan, they got free Manna everyday. At one point they got tired and demanded meat. Moses went to God to consult and God replied, , Moses, Im going to give you meat not for one day or five days or twenty days, but for a whole month. Moses replied, God, thats impossible. There are two million people out here. Even if we butchered all of our flocks, all of our herds, we wouldnt have that much meat. God answered back, Is the LORD’s arm too short?? In other words, God was saying, Just because your logic does not allow you to see a way, does not mean there is no way. All I need to do, God was promising is shift a few things and I will meet your needs. Indeed God provided the meat as recorded at Numbers 11:31, he simply caused a wind to blow fish (Quails) from the sea to the Israelites and it was too much that it covered all the space and stretched to a distance equal to a day walk in every direction and was two cubits high. They gathered fish and all the meat they could and satisfied their craving. Carefully note, they did not need to slaughter their flock or go to look for the meat they wanted, God brought it to them. In other words, God’s arm is not too short. Reminds me of a chorus I love, “God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength For each new day He will make a way He will make a way” May God bless yall
