Pastors Moment: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23 The parable of the talent (Mathew 25:14-30) is a very good illustration of how God deals with us. The Lord watches what we do with the little or much He gives us. If you put your talents to work and they multiply He bless you with more if you bury them He pulls them away from and rewards some else. Where you are today is not where you will be tomorrow. The challenges you face today are not the same ones you will face tomorrow, but in order to move to the next step you must show the ability to handle what lies ahead. Stop going through the motion and start giving everything that you do your best. Your job might not be the best job in the world; nevertheless, your there so give it your best. God has very high expectations of you; do not let him down by settling for an ok average kind of life.
