Pat Clarke, an old friend of ours took two photos of Gorey, taken last Monday at opposite ends of the day. The first at 6.55 am and the other at 6.20 pm. Pat recorded the building of the reclamation site and her extensive photo library has been useful over the years, especially as reference during the building of the incinerator and the subsequent near disaster that happened when the contractors illegally pumped out contaminated water into the Ramsar Area for an extended period.
