Pat Condell contrasts his own multiculturalism with the intolerance (anti-multicuturalism--my word, not his) of political offense. We are making the mistake of defending intolerance (offense) under the rubric of protecting the minority, or protecting free speech. But the more accurate label would be intolerance; and in defending intolerance, we are tearing down our own tolerant, multicultural society. For another culture to live openly in our culture, dont we need to require respect for our culture? To do less is cultural suicide.
