Pat, you say there is no way this world could form in a few thousand years. . .Sounds like you think you are smarter than God AND limit His power. Your interest in oil is clearly financial and not Biblically scientific as oil can form in 30 minutes and the Flood would have brought all the marine animals together to one place, burying them and turning them into oil. As for what is a day? The Bible tells us, evening and morning and the Bible is focusing on the earth for man, not the galaxy. If anyone looks silly, it is this denial of an everlasting, almighty God. Pat, God isnt the one on trial here, yet you have somehow elevated your mind and reasoning abilities above God and His Word. If you cant understand how this could happen perhaps you should give God the honor of being more learned than you are. . . and by the way, science does support a young earth but that is beside the point. According to you I am deaf, blind and dumb and I guess I would say Im proud to trust Gods Word over your faulty reasoning of science. Romans states, The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against the Godlessness and wickedness of men who SUPPRESS THE TRUTH by their wickedness.
