Patches enjoys drinking from the sink then hitting the catnip! What a cutie! Consider adopting Patches, he deserves a loving home after all he has been through. Located in Wilton CT ABOUT PATCHES Patches momma passed away. He had lived in a house with four other kitties. When family members neglected to search for placement for their mothers five cats and the house went into foreclosure, the cats were locked inside. Well, a friend took care of that by busting into the house and letting the cats outside.....to simply fend for themselves. Thanks for being so responsible. Two of Patches siblings disappeared and two were picked up by another angel rescue person. We agreed to take one to help and so Patches came to us after being caught. Poor boy is so confused as to what has happened to his life that he spends most of his time curled up in his little cubby bed in his cage, too afraid to even venture out. However, if you reach in and start petting him, he melts. He is just the sweetest guy. He has never once hissed or growled at anyone. You can pick him up and cuddle him. At first he was afraid to eat and we found if we put wet food in our hand he would eat it out of our palms. Now he feels safe enough to clean his bowl! Patches is five years old. Apparently his momma that passed away had rescued him off the streets. So Patches has had more than his share of ups and downs. He now needs a stable, loving family that will allow him to flourish and give the love he so desperately wants to share. Please, give this guy the love he deserves.
