Pathways is a course I signed up for this semester to help me - TopicsExpress

Pathways is a course I signed up for this semester to help me begin, again, my education, after being interrupted 10 years ago. I have an assignment to teach a friend about what I have learned in this weeks lesson. So, hello Friends! I want to share a few principles that I did enjoyed this week. If any of you have thoughts, feelings or any ideas that come into your mind, please do share. Most people stop learning out of fear. They are afraid they cannot learn. You need never have that fear if you are faithful. Your formal schooling may be interrupted for some reason, but I want you to know with absolute certainty that you can learn whatever God would have you learn. Great learners believe that. They have the attitude that they can learn. (Henry B. Eyring) Life long learning is more than just studying books and great works. It includes learning in life through experiences, conversations with friend and family, artistic endeavors, museums and concerts, and service to one another. This kind of learning brings great joy to our inner self and broadens our view to the many beauties of this world, we would not have otherwise learn of. There is so much knowledge placed on this earth to learn from. Of course there is various types of knowledge. Question: Does the time you spend on media devices enlarge or restrict your capacity to live, to love, and to serve? Does it detract from vocational achievements, academic achievements and/or cherished human relationships? Here is something I find to be true, To be encircled about in the arms of love, will be a real and not a virtual experience. (David A. Bednar) You are loved and your life is carefully watched over. The Lord knows both what He will need you to do and what you will need to know. He is kind and He is all-knowing. So, you can with confidence expect that He has prepared opportunities for you to learn in preparation for the service, you will give. You will not recognize these opportunities perfectly...but you will be blessed to feel directed towards certain learning, and will be motivated to work harder. (Henry B. Eyrings father) Thank you if you made it to the end of this. Ill share you a small secret about me: I once tackled a football player during a varsity game. To hear more about how this came about, share a thought about what you learned:)
