Patriotic Front - PF Campaign Team Spokesperson HARRY KALABA says the reconciliation shown by PF president EDGAR LUNGU and MATERO MP MILES SAMPA indicates that the ruling party is politically mature. Mr. Kalaba says the two leaders have shown that the party is capable of healing itself and moving forward in unity.Mr. KALABA, who is also foreign affairs minister, in a statement released to ZNBC news today, notes that the two party leaders yesterday further re-affirmed that the foundation of the party remains strong and cannot be shaken by any bad political weather.Mr. SAMPA yesterday dispelled speculation that he is leaving the PF and pledged to campaign for Mr. LUNGU not only for this months presidential poll but 2016 as well, stating that whatever happened in 2014 is now in the past. A Political activist says the reconciliation between MILES SAMPA and EDGAR LUNGU in PF is a good gesture of good tidings for the party.Mr. JOHN PHIRI says the reconciliation between the two leaders has shown that young and senior politicians can work together for a collective vision.Mr PHIRI said this in an interview with ZNBC news in LUSAKA.He however noted that it was worth it that MILES SAMPA attempted to go for the higher position of presidency.Mr PHIRI said young people should not fear to aspire for higher positions because they are custodians of the future generation.Mr. noted that he is happy that Mr. SAMPA is ready to work with PF presidential candidate EDGAR LUNGU.
