Patterson, NY | 2014 - by JamesL A long term goal I’ve set before myself, before visiting Bethel I wasn’t sure of what I wanted to do.. I knew I wanted to serve Jehovah & be apart of his organization but I wasn’t sure about what I wanted to do secularly? After planning a trip to Bethel & being introduced to different Bethelites.. Everyone of them that said “Hello” to my family & I, we noticed that they all had this glow & they all had this walk of joy while going to work & they had a HUGE smile on there faces. But this one sister stood out to me the most, she was coming out of the bathroom with her mop & bucket she looked up & saw us.. She had a HUGE smile on her face! I was thinking to myself, if I had to clean a toilet I would probably be miserable but then I had to think, if it’s for Jehovah & his people I would be smiling too. Now matter what service the branch places me in! So, now I know I don’t have to go to college like everyone else or pick up a job as soon as I’ve graduated High School.. After applying Matt 6:33 and building faith in God, his son, & his Kingdom.. I know I’ll be here sooner than I think.. With the help of Bro. Darren Johnson & his wife telling me about looking over a Bethel application, now I know Bethel is the place for me! Photos by JamesL P.S.
