Paul Niland: A Ukrainian photographer has won an international award for his work during the revolution. The award is named after French photographer Remi Ochlik who was killed in Syria in an attack that also claimed the life of an American journalist and wounded three others, including French freelance journalist Edith Bouvier who I had the pleasure of meeting some months ago. The photographs here show what Ukrainians had to go through for their success in removing the corrupt Yanukovych regime, they are harrowing. Lets not forget, this is what happened. Nothing that Ukraine or Ukrainians did then or since is any way cause or justification for the war being waged against Ukraine right now. Yanukovych fled, Putin started seizing parts of the country. Why?
